30-year semiconductor industry veteran brings extensive design and EDA expertise
TEMECULA, Calif. — Nov. 12, 2025 — SimpleChips Technology Inc., a global provider of analog and mixed-signal application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) for automotive, medical, industrial and aerospace applications, today announced Bengt-Erik Embretsén has joined the team as Director of Design.

Embretsen, a 30-year industry veteran, is an electronic design automation (EDA) and IT infrastructure professional with extensive experience in implementing design environments to increase efficiency and decrease expenses. Over his career, he has directed and developed multiple CAD and R&D teams. He previously held engineering management positions at Cadence and Microsemi.
